How does it work:
StealthType was designed to make it easy to type a message on a touchscreen device with 100% accuracy and 0% looking or talking. When you touch the screen, the app will tell you the location of your finger with a friendly voice response (not a robot voice) using your phone speaker, headphones or AUX output. Keep your finger on the screen and guide it to the desired key or button and then lift up your finger to select it. Repeat this process to navigate the app and enter a complete message. The app even has a “Speak” button that will repeat your message so you can proof and edit it without looking at the screen. Using this app properly can reduce or eliminate the visual distraction caused by typing a message on a touchscreen device.
This app has a “Send to Clipboard” option that allows you to create a message using StealthType and copy it to the clipboard so it can be pasted into just about any other app.
iPod Touch users - You can use the “Send to Clipboard” option to paste your message into other apps. Since the text messaging contact list requires voice recording and SMS support, you will not be able to use the SMS text messaging features of this app.
Limitations:
1. StealthType does not automatically send SMS messages. It copies your message to the clipboard and opens a new SMS message to your contact, so you just need to Paste and then Send.
2. We do not currently have Bluetooth headset as an output device. When that functionality becomes available, we will update the app. This version allows you to use the phone speaker, headset or AUX output.
