Easily see what’s working and what isn’t by tracking your healthy lean weight seperatly from your fat weight using any body fat scale. LeanScale makes it easy!
-Fast, simple interface to enter your daily weight and body fat percentage.
-Easy-to-understand summary of your current trends.
-Simple charts from sophisticated statistical analysis.
-Focus on trend direction and change rather than total weight.
-Shows your progress even when changes are small.
-Smooths out confusing random variances.
-Separates healthy lean weight (bone and muscle density) from fat weight, tracks and trends each separately.
-See what’s working and what isn’t: effects of exercise and nutrition become obvious each day (supports any program you follow).
-Supports Pounds, Kilograms and Stone.
-Weight accuracy to .1 and body fat percent to .1.
Requires: a body fat scale (not just a regular weight-only scale), a free LeanScale.com account which you can create entirely from the app, and data connection.
Until now, weighing yourself (and tracking it) was frustrating and confusing:
-Total number is often intimidating.
-Can't see change fast enough.
-Numbers vary up and down in seemingly random ways.
-Can’t tell healthy weight from unhealthy weight (i.e., lean and fat).
BMI doesn’t help: body composition can’t be calculated from only height and weight.
Body fat scales give more information, but can be confusing and frustrating.
DIFFERENCE FROM OTHER APPS
-Other apps don’t support all body fat scales or added support as an afterthought
-Other apps don’t account for random daily variances, or do so with less accurate running average
-We analyzed dozens of possible algorithms to determine the best statistical model for accurately describing your curves and eliminating daily variance. We do the hard work to make it easier for you to see what’s really happening.
-Other apps track BMI or total weight: LeanScale focuses on Body Composition.
Weight or BMI can be misleading and downright harmful. Neither takes into account body composition (BMI is simply a formula from your height and weight. Two people with very different builds and levels of fitness can have the same BMI.) Losing weight can be good or bad, and you can’t tell without knowing what is being lost! Same for gaining weight. Sometimes the most healthy change occurs with exercise and nutrition that result in less fat and more muscle density at the same weight!
