Description

NOTE: This application is currently only available in German!

Simply order your Parking Tickets on the iPhone:
- Select the city: Wien (Vienna), Bregenz, Gleisdorf, Gmunden, Mödling, Stockerau, St. Pölten or Wels.
- Select the license plate from a list of your vehicles.
- Select the desired duration.
- Order ticket!

An Austrian mobile phone number and a registration with the Austrian m-parking system "HANDY Parken" are required. This registration can be performed online at http://www.handyparken.at.

Your parking ticket will be ordered via SMS. The application automatically composes the required SMS for you. For Vienna, it uses the number +436646600990, for the provinces +4382820200. Before your SMS is sent, it will be presented to you for confirmation.

FOR CUSTOMERS OF "3" (HUTCHISON):
- The number +4382820200 for HANDY Parken in the provinces is not available for customers of "3".
- However, according to customer feedback, +436646606000 functions as a complete replacement.
- Starting with version 1.2, the number used is configurable in the application settings (iPhone settings app).
- So configuring +436646606000 there should work. Feedback welcome!

NEW FUNCTIONS IN VERSION 1.2:
- Added 180 minutes parking duration for Vienna because of customer requests (although only up to 120 minutes intended according to the description on www.handyparken.at).
- 15 minutes interval for pre-bookings in Vienna.
- New settings (iPhone settings app):
* The used phone numbers can be changed (e.g. for adding a prefix to distinguish between company account and private account).
* Quick selection function for saving one click when selecting a city or license plate.
* Reset settings to default values.
- Integrated information in the new info tab (links to the respective web sites):
* Parking zones and rates for Vienna (Magistrat Wien).
* City infos (HANDY Parken).

Additional functions for Vienna:
- Pre-book parking tickets for a given start time.
- Check your paybox parking balance.
- Recharge your paybox parking balance.

The application also maintains a history of the parking ticket requests sent by it.

+++ Business parking with billing via business paybox is also supported (activate it in the iPhone settings app!). +++

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- The author is not related to the operators or developers of the "HANDY Parken" service. The "HANDY Parken" service may be terminated or technically modified at any time so that this application becomes unusable.
- The author does not accept any liability for incorrect or unsuccessful parking ticket requests.
- The user will incur costs for sending SMS messages according to the his or her mobile phone contract.
- The history maintained by the application contains the parking ticket requests that were successfully sent by the application. These must not be considered booking confirmations!
- The user is responsible for verifying if a parking ticket is actually required for the current location/day of week/time of day before requesting a parking ticket.
- The user is responsible for verifying the reception and contents of the confirmation SMS sent by the "HANDY Parken" service in order to confirm that the parking ticket was booked as desired.
