Description

Speed+ is a speedometer and trip computer with a clean iOS 7 aesthetic.

As well as a large MPH or km/h speed reading it includes:

- Heading
- Maximum speed achieved during journey
- Average speed for journey
- Trip Duration
- Altitude
- Latitude and Longitude
- SOS button to share location via iMessage/SMS
- GPS signal strength
- User configurable speed limit. An audible alert will sound when you exceed this speed

On the iPad it can be used in portrait or landscape.

The user can set background updates ON within the app. This will allow location updates to continue in the background while you are making a call etc. It will ensure accuracy for average speed and max speed while doing other things. Set to OFF to preserve battery life when the app is in the background.

**IMPORTANT** Please note that this utility requires a GPS chip. For this reason it will only work on iPhones or cellular enabled iPads. iPod touches and Wi-Fi only iPads do not have a GPS chip so please do not try and use on these devices

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
